This is my fifth year as a part of noc-turne and my fourth year as the Wild Woman. I received my B.A. in poetry from the University of Colorado Denver, but I have been telling stories since before I could write. While I have tried on many forms of movement over the years, I always return to dance because it allows me to move within story.

Amelie is a local visual artist. Her love of dance and painting stems from childhood. Born and raised in Belgium, she studied psychology and fashion design before moving to the US in 2012. She splits her time between her creative pursuits: oil painting and pole dancing. She aims to bring forward and honor the Divine Feminine in all she creates.

I have been dancing my whole life, doing ballet and jazz when I was younger and starting burlesque and contemporary dance about 4 years ago. This is my third time performing in a noc-turne show! I love finding new ways to tell stories and get to know myself through dance.

My pole journey started in Aguascalientes, Mexico in 2021. Since then, pole dance has developed within me a fire for creativity and desire to push my physical limits in ways I used to never believe possible.

Christina decided to attend her first pole dance class during the pandemic in 2020. It was an immediate obsession that she embraced as a new way of self-expression and staying connected to her body in a time of fear and isolation. Over the last 6 years she has experienced many health challenges and life changes that have changed the way she approaches dance, but it remains an important pillar of her life. As one of the original 2021 noc-turne cast members who also participated in the Ophelia, Medusa, and Revenge Dress shows, she is excited to make a comeback this year as the moon!

Katana is a creature of mystery, born from a need to discover and renew themselves; to reclaim the body they inhabit. Katana is equal parts water and fire, striving to always be both fluid and fierce on their journey to embrace femininity and sensuality as some of their many strengths.

As a lifelong artist and dancer, movement and self-expression have been central to my wellbeing for as long as I can remember. I began pole dancing over 3 years ago, a journey that has opened doorways to the self I never imagined possible.

LowJinx found dance on club floors, moving to DJs long before any formal training. After exploring other aerial apparatus, pole became home when she realized it was the best of dancing and flying. She dances because it feels good. This is her first solo performance piece.

I’ve been dancing since age four, beginning with Mexican folklore, jazz, and ballet. My journey includes hip hop and salsa competitions and training in many Latin rhythms. I have a degree in Theater and have performed in multiple productions throughout the Bay Area and Colorado.

Three years ago, after a lifetime of dancing, I was introduced to the world of aerial. I fell in love with the physical and mental challenges it presented (along with the pain). This is now my fifth show with Wild Productions, and I’m honored to be included.

ARI
Spring
Ari (she/her) started her pole journey in 2020 with no prior dance experience, drawn in by the strength and athleticism of the sport. After her first competition, she challenged herself to explore the more expressive, dance-focused side of pole, and to her surprise, she fell in love with that too! Embracing both the powerful and artistic aspects of pole has helped her grow in confidence and self-expression. Since 2022, she’s been teaching both choreography and pole tricks, sharing the same joy and empowerment that pole has brought into her life.

Victoria Lovering (she/they) is a Portland, Maine-based pole instructor, burlesque performer, and longtime dancer. After many years of choreographing high school musicals, V discovered their love of pole dancing at Hustle and Flow movement studio in 2019, and has been an instructor there since 2022. She's thrilled and honored to join their first Wild Woman production and would like to thank Greyce and Kyra for the invitation!
