Greyce Skinner and WILD Productions LTD present the summer show

MEMOIR

May 17, 2025 at 7pm.

Join us for a night of celebrating human connection through stories.

----

Joan Didion said “We tell ourselves stories in order to live.”

If someone asked you to tell the most important stories in your life, could you? Would you?

All of the shows performers were given the simple prompt- “Tell me a story about your life.” These are the stories they chose to tell.

Welcome to Memoir.

No refunds offered.

Doors will open 30 minutes before the start of each show. If you arrive early, we invite you to explore one of the many restaurant and bar offerings in the neighborhood.

Parking in RiNo is in VERY high demand on Saturday evenings, so please allow plenty of time. Street parking is available in addition to two paid lots across the street from the studio (one directly across the street, the other on the west corner of 35th and Walnut.)

CAST
(in order of Appearance)

SHOWTIME STEFANIE

Showtime Stefanie began pole dancing in 2019 and now teaches beginner and intermediate pole technique, as well as pole and chair choreography, at Tease Studio. With no formal dance background and only a lifelong love for Broadway musicals, she embraces storytelling through movement, focusing on musicality, confidence, and fluid transitions.

“The brick walls are there for a reason. The brick walls are not there to keep us out. The brick walls are there to give us a chance to show how badly we want something.”

– Randy Pausch, The Last Lecture

GREYCE SKINNER

Greyce is a mover, deviser, and storyteller who grew up in the theatre. She started practicing aerial arts over a decade ago and is excited to live in the place where aerial and theatre meet.

“Stories constitute the single most powerful weapon in a leader’s arsenal.”
― Dr. Howard Gardner

“There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.”
― Maya Angelou

AMELIE

Amelie's creative spark is the North Star that has guided her life. Born and raised in Belgium, she studied psychology and fashion design before moving to the US in 2012. Now an accomplished local visual artist, she splits her time between her creative pursuits: oil painting and pole dance. In her creative practice, she honors the Divine Feminine and the Goddess through movement and visual expression.

TERESA KOOIMA

My pole journey started in 2021 while I was living in Aguascalientes, Mexico. It stayed with me as I moved back to the US and eventually to Denver. Through pole, I’ve learned to love movement, dance, and sensual expression.

“Whenever a thing is done for the first time, it releases a little demon”

- Emily Dickenson

MCKENNA PAYNE

McKenna began dancing when she was little but stopped for about 10 years to focus on building her muscles. When she moved to Denver she decided she needed a new hobby to pursue, thus Tease was the new shining star in her life!

"Better never to have met you in my dream than to wake and reach for hands that are not there."

-Otomo No Yakamochi

JUDY

This piece is meant to illustrate the feeling of being stuck in between, hopeful for a 3rd option that doesn't exist. It's the desire to remain in comfort when you know you need to make a change. It's like the bargaining stage of grief.

"Mental health is a commitment to reality at all costs."

- M. Scott Peck

SUMMER

Lifelong mover and music lover, I am honored to say this is my fourth show with Wild Productions. Since gratitude is the theme of my piece, I will extend that out to this group for creating a space that feels safe to share such immense vulnerability. Thank you to my fellow dancers for your inspiring performances, and thank you to you, our viewers, for your time, attention, and support.

GEORGIA MAY WAKE

Georgia has been lighting up stages across the Front Range since 2018, blending fierce storytelling with a deep love of movement. A two-time Best Buds award winner at the Mile High Burlesque Festival (2022 & 2023), she’s graced the Denver Pride Mainstage, and brought her sparkle to stages in Las Vegas and Oklahoma City. Her choreography earned top honors in the Pop Culture category at the 2024 Burlypicks Regionals. Offstage, Georgia is a proud dance mama to many in the local burlesque scene. Onstage, she’s here to show you—and them—what it looks like to fully embrace who you are, past and all.

FEI WU

I've always been drawn to creative expression. Growing up, I played the piano, painted, sang. Currently, I work as a writer and storyteller. But I never connected creative expression to movement until I began to dance and it lit me up like oxygen meeting a burning ember.

“Perhaps all the dragons in our lives are princesses who are only waiting to see us act, just once, with beauty and courage. Perhaps everything that frightens us is, in its deepest essence, something helpless that wants our love.”
― Rainer Maria Rilke, Letters to a Young Poet

MIRISE LUBELL

As a lifelong artist and dancer, movement and self-expression have been central to my wellbeing for as long as I can remember. I began pole dancing nearly 3 years ago, a journey that has opened doorways to the self I never imagined possible.
